El joven hincha del Sunderland Bradley Lowery, cuya enfermedad emocionó en los últimos meses al Reino Unido, murió a los 6 años, anunció este viernes su familia.
"Mi valiente hijito se fue con los ángeles hoy a las 13h35, en los brazos de su papá y de su mamá", escribió la familia de Bradley en su perfil de Facebook.
El aficionado, que se hizo amigo de Jermain Defoe, estaba enfermo con un cáncer poco frecuente: un neuroblastoma, que estaba en fase terminal y los tratamientos no podían curarle
Su historia emocionó a Inglaterra en la última temporada, en la que Bradley saltó en varias ocasiones al césped del Stadium of Light llevado por Defoe.
Tras conocerse la noticia de su muerte este viernes, el mundo del fútbol reaccionó con mucha pena.
